Count down to Boot Camp

I've decided that I need to lose weight for Boot Camp and the coming season and have even added a diet ticker to my blog.

I'd like to lose 3 stone so I can get up and down that steep hill to exercise the dogs :)

It's in May and I'm on the Lighterlife diet, no actual food just shakes, soups, porridge and bars.

don't you get bored in not eating...chewing?

It's only been a week so I'm sure I'll get really fed up soon, the porridge does have some texture and the bars are chewy it's the drinking 2 litres of water a day that I'm struggling with.

Paula,cant believe you only gotta drink 2 ltrs of water. When I did it, we had to drink 4. Just be careful, I know soooo many people now that have done Lighterlife and lost lots (I lost 5 stone in 4 months) and then put it all back on and more when you start eating "normal" food again. Good Luck x

Thanks for the warning, I'm hoping that if I can use it to kick start losing the weight I can then be better about what I eat as I really eat too much fast food.

Hi Paula, I have lost nearly 4st, mostly with Slimming World. The first 1st 9lbs came off before joining them, as I changed my job from office worker to dog walker, and all the extra exercise helped with the first loss. When I plateaued I then decided to do something more about it and joined the club. You can eat really well, and filling foods - just the right kinds of food - I throughly recommend it.
